Exterior Trim is range pricing, based on linear footage, trim type, and how much of the damage is hidden until we open it up:

• Priced by linear foot and trim type. Corner boards, door casing, band boards, and fascia-adjacent trim each price a little differently based on profile and material.
• What changes the price: how many linear feet need replacement, roofline or second-story access, trim profile complexity, and whether rot has spread into the sheathing or framing behind the trim.
• Bundling with a bigger exterior project. Trim carpentry pairs naturally with siding work, exterior painting, or window and door replacement happening in the same visit, sequenced so trim carpentry happens before painting.
• Hidden damage. Once we pull a damaged board, rot sometimes extends further than the surface suggested. We photograph and price any additional scope before proceeding rather than adding it silently.
• Homes built before 1978. Exterior trim on older homes may carry lead-based paint, and scraping or sanding it is regulated work under the federal Renovation, Repair and Painting rule. If your home falls in that category and the scope will disturb painted surfaces, we confirm in writing before work begins which portions of the job the rule covers and how that portion will be performed and contained. We do not disturb suspected lead-based paint on an unconfirmed scope.

Exterior trim wear in Central Ohio
