Transit & Flow templates, fabricates, and installs countertops across Columbus and Central Ohio. The surface is the easy part. What separates a clean install from a bad one is the template accuracy, the seam placement, the substrate support, and whether the crew can legally reconnect your plumbing and electrical when the slab goes down. We can, because we are a licensed general contractor with plumbing and electrical divisions in house.

One licensed general contractor, start to finish. Transit & Flow is licensed, bonded, and insured, and we self-perform across every division on this site. That means no handoff between a designer, an installer, and a repair crew from three different companies. One estimate, one schedule, one account manager, one warranty. If something needs to be corrected, there is exactly one number to call.

Countertops services we provide

How a Transit & Flow countertop project runs

  1. Design consultation and material selection. We walk the space, take rough dimensions, and help you select material, edge profile, and finish against your cabinets, floor, and lighting.
  2. Laser templating. After the old tops come out, we digitally template the actual cabinet run. Not the plan, the reality. This is why our seams land where they should.
  3. Fabrication. Your slab is cut, edged, and polished to the template, with the sink and cooktop cutouts made in the shop under controlled conditions rather than on your kitchen floor.
  4. Demolition and installation. We remove and dispose of the old tops, shim and level the cabinet run, set the new surface, and seam it with color-matched adhesive.
  5. Reconnect, seal, and finish. Sink, faucet, disposal, and cooktop are reconnected by our licensed trades, the backsplash is finished, everything is sealed, and the site is cleaned.

Why homeowners choose Transit & Flow

Most countertop companies fabricate and set the stone, then tell you to call a plumber. We template with a laser, lay out the seams where they disappear rather than where the slab happens to end, reinforce the cabinet run where it needs it, and reconnect the sink, faucet, disposal, and cooktop before we leave. One crew, one day, one invoice.

Transit & Flow runs countertop alongside roofing, plumbing, electrical, restoration, and a dozen other divisions across the same market. When your project touches another trade, and most exterior projects do, it stays inside one company with one schedule and one warranty rather than becoming your job to coordinate.

Frequently asked questions

How much does countertop work cost in Columbus?

Cost depends on size, material, site conditions, and access. We measure on site and give you a written, itemized price before any work begins, with no allowances hiding the real number. Call (614) 382-0000 for a free estimate.

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes. Transit & Flow is a licensed, bonded, and insured general contractor operating across Central Ohio. We carry general liability and workers compensation, and we provide certificates on request before work starts.

Do you handle permits and inspections?

Yes. Where the work requires a permit, we produce the drawings, pull the permit, schedule the inspections, and manage the approval through to sign-off. That is included, not billed as an extra.

How long does a typical project take?

Most residential projects in this division run from a single day to two weeks of on-site work, depending on scope and weather. We give you a scheduled start and a realistic completion window in writing before we begin.

What kind of warranty do you provide?

Every project carries a written Transit & Flow workmanship warranty in addition to the manufacturer warranty on the materials. Because we self-perform, there is one company responsible for both.

What areas do you serve?

We serve Columbus, Dublin, Westerville, Hilliard, Gahanna, New Albany, Powell, Grove City, Pickerington, Upper Arlington, Worthington, Delaware, and the rest of Central Ohio.
