Exterior railings is range pricing, based on material, linear footage, and how much of the surrounding structure the railing attaches to:

• Priced by linear foot and material. Wood, aluminum, cable, composite, and glass panel systems each price differently, and a mixed-material rail, wood posts with cable infill, for example, prices as its own line.
• What changes the price: post spacing and count, height requirements on an elevated deck versus a low patio wall, the condition of whatever the railing anchors into, and whether posts need new footings rather than reusing existing ones.
• Repair versus full-run replacement. Sometimes one section or a handful of balusters needs attention; sometimes the whole run is due. We price both separately with photos so you can see the difference before deciding.

Railings and Central Ohio’s outdoor spaces
