Terms of Service
The terms that govern services performed by Transit & Flow Group.
Effective Date: January 1, 2026 | Last Updated: July 2026
1. Service Eligibility & Scope
Transit & Flow Group provides plumbing, HVAC, electrical, roofing, remodeling, handyman, cleaning, restoration, and commercial facilities services throughout Columbus and the surrounding Central Ohio region to customers age 18 or older who own, or have legal authority over, the property being serviced.
2. Booking & Estimates
Estimates are provided in writing and are valid for the timeframe stated on the estimate. Where a diagnostic visit fee applies, it is disclosed up front and credited toward approved work. All work requires signed customer acceptance before we proceed.
3. Payment Terms
Payment is due upon completion of work unless a written payment plan has been agreed to in advance. We accept credit cards, ACH, Zelle, and select third-party financing. Unpaid balances outstanding more than 30 days may incur a late charge of one and one-half percent (1.5%) per month, consistent with Ohio law limits.
4. Mechanic’s Lien Rights
Under Ohio law, Transit & Flow Group may file a mechanic’s lien against the serviced property for unpaid invoices, following the procedures set out in Ohio Revised Code Chapter 1311. We may also pursue collection, report unpaid balances to credit bureaus, and recover associated legal and filing costs.
5. Warranty
We warrant our workmanship for one (1) year from the date of job completion, excluding pre-existing conditions and damage caused by misuse. Drain clearing work carries a thirty (30) day warranty. Manufacturer warranties on parts and equipment apply per the manufacturer’s own terms.
6. Cancellation Policy
Cancellations made within two (2) hours of a scheduled arrival window may incur a dispatch fee, particularly for repeat late cancellations. We ask for as much notice as possible so we can offer your appointment window to another customer.
7. Dispute Resolution
Any dispute arising from services performed by Transit & Flow Group will be resolved through binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) in Franklin County, Ohio. Both parties waive the right to a jury trial and to participate in a class action.
