Exterior Caulking is range pricing, based on linear footage of seams across the project and how many separate systems, siding, trim, openings, are involved:

• Priced by linear footage across the project. Siding seams, trim-to-trim joints, and window and door perimeters are measured together rather than fixture by fixture.
• What changes the price: how much old, failed caulk needs cutting out first, how many separate systems and openings are in scope, and access, since a two-story exterior costs more to seal than a single-story ranch.
• Coordinated timing. Caulking generally happens after new siding, trim, or windows go in and before any exterior paint or finish coat, so we schedule it to match your project’s timeline.
• Homes built before 1978. Cutting out old exterior caulk can disturb adjacent lead-based paint, and that is regulated work under the federal Renovation, Repair and Painting rule. If your home falls in that category and the scope will disturb painted surfaces, we confirm in writing before work begins which portions of the job the rule covers and how that portion will be performed and contained. We do not disturb suspected lead-based paint on an unconfirmed scope.
