Is this what you’re seeing?

  • A burst or actively leaking pipe
  • A toilet overflowing or unable to be shut off
  • No water anywhere in the house
  • A water heater leaking significant amounts of water
  • Sewage backing up into a tub, sink, or floor drain
  • A frozen pipe you’re worried will burst
  • Water actively pooling where it shouldn’t be, anywhere in the home

Honest pricing

Emergency plumbing is diagnosed and priced on arrival, not before, because the actual cause (a failed valve, a burst supply line, a cracked fitting) determines both the fix and the cost. What we can tell you upfront: emergency response carries a different rate than scheduled work, and our technician will explain the diagnosis and price before any repair starts. If the issue turns out to be larger, such as a sewer line problem, we’ll explain that clearly and quote it as its own scope rather than folding it into the emergency call.

What’s included / what’s not included

Typically included:
– Emergency dispatch and on-site diagnosis
– Stopping active water loss (shutoff, temporary fix, or full repair depending on the issue)
– Explanation of the cause and the repair options before work begins
– The repair itself, once you approve the scope and price

Typically not included unless added to scope:
– Larger repairs discovered during the emergency call, such as sewer line issues (quoted separately)
– Drywall, flooring, or other water-damage restoration (see our restoration services)
– Permit fees for any work that requires one, which vary by municipality

Honest response time expectations

Emergency response times vary by location, technician availability, weather, traffic, and job conditions. We do not promise immediate arrival, because an honest estimate depends on where you are, what time it is, and what’s happening across our other calls at that moment. What we do promise: we call you back fast, we tell you a real window, and we prioritize based on severity, meaning active water damage or no water at all moves ahead of a slow leak that can wait a few hours.

Why Central Ohio homes call for emergency plumbing

Freeze-thaw cycles each Central Ohio winter are one of the most common causes of burst pipes, especially in homes with exposed pipes in crawlspaces, garages, or exterior walls. Older homes in neighborhoods like Clintonville and the Hilltop sometimes have aging supply lines or shutoff valves that fail without warning. Heavy spring rain can also push sewer backups in homes with older or compromised sewer lines. Whatever the cause, our on-call team is set up to prioritize based on real severity and get to you as fast as conditions allow.

Our process

  1. Call (614) 382-0000. Tell us what’s happening. We prioritize based on severity, so be specific about active water loss.
  2. Immediate guidance. If you can safely shut off water at the main or fixture, we’ll walk you through it while help is on the way.
  3. On-site diagnosis. Our technician arrives, diagnoses the actual cause, and explains it and the price before any repair.
  4. Repair. We stop the active issue and complete the repair you approve.
  5. Follow-up. If the emergency uncovered a larger issue, we scope and schedule that as a separate, clearly explained project.
