Aging-in-Place Improvements is priced per modification, built from a whole-house walkthrough rather than a single flat number for the category as a whole:

• Each modification is its own line item. A grab bar, a handrail, a threshold reduction, a lever handle swap, or better lighting at the stairs is each priced individually, so you can see what each piece costs and choose what to do now versus later.
• Number and combination of modifications is the main driver of total project cost. Three or four small items bundled into one visit typically cost less combined than the same items scheduled separately, since setup and travel are shared.

5. Installation, scheduled and sequenced. Individual installs are completed by the appropriate crew, often in a single combined visit.
