Is this the right service for you?

Cabinet Interior Cleaning is the right fit when the inside of your cabinets and drawers needs attention: sticky shelf liner, crumbs and spills built up in pantry cabinets, grime along drawer bottoms in the kitchen, or bathroom vanity cabinets with product residue and dust accumulating around stored items. It is priced per cabinet or drawer, and it uses shelf-liner-safe cleaning products so we do not damage liner material while lifting the buildup underneath it.

This service is distinct from Kitchen Deep Cleaning, our broader single-room kitchen service, whose standard scope includes cabinet-front detailing, meaning the outside of your cabinet doors and drawer fronts, along with the rest of the kitchen. Kitchen Deep Cleaning does not include the inside of cabinets and drawers as part of its base scope. Cabinet Interior Cleaning is specifically the inside, and the two are commonly booked together so a kitchen gets handled from the cabinet contents out to the exterior surfaces in one visit.

If your cabinets and drawers need attention across both the kitchen and bathrooms, or throughout more of the home, this page scopes and prices cabinet interiors wherever you want them addressed, kitchen, bathroom vanities, or both, as separate line items in the same visit.

How pricing works

Cabinet Interior Cleaning is fixed-price, priced per cabinet or drawer.

  • Cabinet and drawer count sets the base price, since interior cleaning is priced per unit rather than by room square footage. A kitchen with more upper and lower cabinets prices higher than a smaller kitchen or a single bathroom vanity.
  • Contents and clearing affect price: cabinets you empty yourself before the visit clean faster than cabinets our team needs to carefully unload, wipe, and reload around your items.
  • Standalone versus add-on pricing differs: booking this alongside a same-day Kitchen Deep Cleaning or recurring house cleaning visit typically costs less per cabinet than booking it as a fully separate visit.
  • Liner condition changes price. Cabinets with existing shelf liner in good condition are wiped around and under it; cabinets where liner needs to be lifted, cleaned separately, and reset take longer than a bare-shelf interior.

As general market context, not a Transit & Flow quote, Angi’s cost data on house cleaning add-ons lists cabinet interior cleaning at roughly $20 to $50 per add-on as of 2026, with cost varying by cabinet count and condition.

What’s included

  • Interior surfaces of kitchen cabinets and drawers: shelves, walls, and drawer bottoms
  • Interior surfaces of bathroom vanity cabinets and drawers, where included in your scope
  • Shelf-liner-safe cleaning that works around or under existing liner without damaging it
  • Careful removal, wiping, and replacement of stored items during cleaning, with items returned to their original spots
  • A written scope confirming which cabinets and drawers are included before work begins

What’s not included

  • Exterior cabinet doors and drawer fronts; see Kitchen Deep Cleaning for that scope in the kitchen
  • Replacing or installing new shelf liner; we clean around existing liner but do not supply new material
  • Pantry food inventory management or organizing systems beyond returning items to their original spots
  • Structural cabinet repairs, hinge adjustments, or hardware replacement; those are flagged, not performed
  • Closets, linen cabinets, and built-in furniture outside the kitchen and bathroom; ask about scope for other cabinetry

Central Ohio context

Central Ohio’s municipal water supply carries a notable mineral content, and that hard water shows up inside cabinets in an indirect but real way: under-sink cabinets in the region see mineral deposits and occasional minor drips from supply lines and disposal units, which can leave spotting and residue on cabinet floors that a quick wipe does not fully address. Bathroom vanity cabinets see a similar pattern from toiletry spills combined with the same mineral content in tap water.

Older housing stock plays a role too. Homes in Clintonville, German Village, and Bexley often have original cabinetry with older, less durable shelf liner than newer builds in Dublin or New Albany, and that older liner needs more careful handling during cleaning so it lifts free of grime without tearing. Our shelf-liner-safe approach is built around that difference, treating older liner more gently than a newer, more resilient material would require.

Our process

  1. Describe your cabinets online. Room, cabinet and drawer count, and current condition entered into the Estimate Builder for a preliminary online estimate.
  2. Book the visit, standalone or bundled with a same-day Kitchen Deep Cleaning or recurring cleaning visit.
  3. Confirm scope at the visit. The cleaner confirms which cabinets and drawers are included and notes liner condition and any fragile stored items.
  4. Interior cleaning performed, working cabinet by cabinet: items removed, shelves and drawers wiped with shelf-liner-safe products, items returned to their original spots.
  5. Final check. A walkthrough confirming each included cabinet and drawer meets the agreed scope.

Services completed by appropriately qualified professionals where required.
