Is this the right service for you?

  • You’ve already purchased your toilet and just need it professionally installed
  • You’re replacing an old toilet with a new one you bought yourself, in the same location
  • You want a straightforward set: new wax ring, mounting bolts, water supply hookup, and leveling
  • You’re not dealing with a known flange problem, subfloor damage, or an unclear underlying issue
  • You don’t need help choosing a model, sourcing the fixture, or diagnosing why the old one failed; you already know what you’re installing and just want it done fast

This is the Appliance and Fixture Installation version of toilet installation: fast, fixed-price, and focused purely on setting a toilet you already own. Transit & Flow also has a separate Toilet Installation page in our Plumbing services, built for a different situation: helping you select a replacement model, sourcing the toilet as part of the job, or diagnosing an underlying issue like a cracked flange or subfloor rot uncovered when the old fixture comes out. If you’ve already bought your toilet and just need it installed, this page is for you. If you’re not sure what’s wrong, want help choosing a replacement, or want the fixture sourced and installed as part of a broader plumbing visit, see our Toilet Installation page instead.

How pricing works

This is a flat-price service. A standard install-only toilet installation, removing the old unit if present, setting the new toilet with a fresh wax ring, connecting the water supply, and leveling it properly, is priced as a single flat number, not an open-ended hourly job.

A few things step the price up from the flat rate: a damaged or corroded flange discovered once the old toilet comes up, subfloor rot beneath the old fixture, a shutoff valve that’s seized or leaking and needs replacement first, or a toilet whose rough-in dimension (the distance from the wall to the drain) doesn’t match your bathroom’s existing plumbing. We flag any of these on the spot with photos before proceeding, so the flat price holds unless the scope genuinely changes.

For general market context, Angi’s 2026 data cites full-service toilet installation labor at around $373 on average, with plumbers commonly charging $300 to $800 depending on the scope of the job. That figure is general market data, not a Transit & Flow Group quote, and reflects a range of installation types, not our flat install-only rate. Enter your project details and photos in the Estimate Builder for a preliminary online estimate. Final scope and price subject to verification on site.

What’s included

  • Removal and disposal of your old toilet, if applicable
  • New wax ring and mounting hardware
  • Installation and leveling of your new, customer-supplied toilet
  • Water supply connection and leak testing
  • Basic function check of the flush and fill before we leave
  • Cleanup of the work area

What’s not included

  • The toilet itself. Transit & Flow does not sell or supply fixtures through this service; this is installation labor for a toilet you’ve already purchased
  • Flange repair or replacement if damaged (quoted separately if found)
  • Subfloor repair if rot is found beneath the old fixture
  • Flooring changes around the new toilet’s footprint
  • Model selection guidance or fixture sourcing (available through our Toilet Installation page instead)

Why this matters for Central Ohio homes

Older homes across German Village, Olde Towne East, and other established Columbus neighborhoods often have original flanges and shutoff valves decades old, which is exactly where a straightforward install-only job can turn up a surprise once the old toilet is out of the way. That’s why even a fast, fixed-price install includes a quick check of the flange and valve before the new toilet goes down, rather than setting a new fixture on a base that may not hold up. Newer construction across Dublin, Powell, and Grove City tends to have more consistent rough-in dimensions, but it’s still worth confirming your new toilet’s rough-in matches your existing drain before we arrive, so there are no surprises on installation day.

Our process

  1. Book online or by phone. Use the Estimate Builder or call (614) 382-0000 and let us know you already have your toilet ready to install.
  2. Confirm details. We confirm your toilet’s rough-in dimension and whether an old fixture needs to come out first.
  3. Installation visit. Our installer removes the old toilet if present, checks the flange, sets the new toilet with a fresh wax ring, and connects the water supply.
  4. Testing. We test for leaks at the base and supply line before finishing.
  5. Walkthrough. We confirm the new toilet operates properly and answer any questions.

Services completed by appropriately qualified professionals where required.
