A Flooring Consultation is a custom, consultation based service, priced around the scope of your project rather than a flat fee, because a single-room refresh and a whole-main-floor sequencing plan across five rooms take very different amounts of planning time. Our flooring team walks the space with you, discusses what’s already decided (or not), and maps out a realistic sequence: what gets removed, what gets measured, and in what order rooms get installed.

This is a different service than our Flooring Selection page, which is a design-focused consultation about which material, tone, plank width, or tile pattern to choose. If you haven’t picked a material yet, start there. The Flooring Consultation picks up once a material is chosen or nearly chosen, and focuses on the logistics of getting it installed correctly: removal needs, subfloor condition, room sequencing, and how the finished transitions will look and function. In practice, most households book a Flooring Selection session first, then a Flooring Consultation as the pre-installation walkthrough that feeds directly into our Flooring Measurement visit and the installation booking itself.

6. Handoff to measurement and installation. Once sequencing is set, we schedule the measurement visit and, from there, the installation itself.
