Is this the right service for you?
Mirror Installation, part of our Appliance and Fixture Installation division, is built for the straightforward, common case: a mirror you have already bought, typically a bathroom vanity mirror or a similar standard wall mirror, going up in an ordinary spot with reasonably standard hardware. It’s a fixed-price, fast-turnaround booking, closer to hanging a fixture than to a design or remodeling project.
Transit & Flow also has a published Mirror Hanging service, which sits in our handyman division alongside picture hanging and artwork installation. That page is built for a broader range of mirror situations, including large full-length mirrors, wall-to-wall gym mirrors, and jobs that call for more involved hardware selection and technique, French cleats sized to a large piece, mirror clips, or J-channel for frameless glass, chosen carefully for size and wall type. If your mirror is a standard vanity mirror or similarly sized piece going into a normal bathroom or wall location, this page, Mirror Installation, is the faster and simpler booking. If it’s a large-format mirror, an oversized frameless piece, or you want a closer look at hardware options for a bigger installation, Mirror Hanging is the better fit. If you’re not sure which applies, send a photo and the mirror’s dimensions through the Estimate Builder and we’ll point you to the right service.
How pricing works
Mirror Installation is a single flat price for a standard mirror in a standard location. That price assumes:
- A mirror of typical size for its location, such as a standard bathroom vanity mirror
- A wall that can be anchored into with ordinary hardware, studs or standard anchors as needed
- Straightforward hanging hardware already on the mirror, or standard clips and hardware for a frameless piece
What steps this outside flat pricing: an oversized or unusually heavy mirror, a wall with no accessible blocking or stud where the mirror needs to hang, or a location requiring extensive custom hardware. Any of these point toward Mirror Hanging instead, and we’ll say so plainly if that’s what your project needs.
As general market context, not a Transit & Flow Group quote, Angi’s 2026 cost data places typical professional mirror installation around $159 to $471 for a standard project, averaging near $302, with small vanity mirrors typically running toward the lower end of that range. Starting at $299.

Central Ohio context
In older Columbus homes, Clintonville, German Village, and Bexley among them, plaster-and-lath walls are common in bathrooms, and stud spacing isn’t always the consistent 16 inches you’d find in newer construction. For a standard vanity mirror, this is usually a minor adjustment, not a scope change, and it’s part of why we check the wall before mounting rather than assuming. In newer homes around Dublin, New Albany, and Lewis Center, drywall over predictable stud spacing typically makes for a quick, straightforward install.
