Is this the right service for you?

This page is specifically for an individual homeowner coordinating the trades and suppliers on their own project, not a portfolio or ongoing multi-property arrangement. Signs this is the right fit:

  • You are managing your own remodel or new build and juggling calls, texts, and invoices from several different trades and suppliers
  • You want one point of contact tracking which vendor is doing what, and when, across your single project
  • A supplier delivery hasn’t lined up with the trade that needs it, and nobody was tracking both calendars together
  • You want documentation and photos for work completed by each vendor touching your project, in one place
  • You are not managing multiple properties or an investment portfolio, just your own home project, start to finish

Important distinction. Transit & Flow also operates a separate Property Solutions division for property managers and investors, and it publishes its own Property Vendor Coordination page. That service is built for coordinating vendors across a property or portfolio on an ongoing basis, recurring maintenance and repair calls spread across multiple properties, not a single defined project. This page, in our Construction and Remodeling division, is built for a homeowner coordinating the trades and suppliers on their own single remodeling or construction project. If you are a homeowner working on your own home, this is the page for you. If you are a property manager or investor coordinating vendors across a property or portfolio, use the Property Solutions page instead.

This service is also closely related to two others in our Construction and Remodeling category. If Transit & Flow is directly managing your entire project’s budget and hiring the trades, see project-management. If you have an outside architect, designer, or general contractor and want Transit & Flow representing your interests, see owner-s-representation. Vendor coordination specifically focuses on managing the vendor and supplier relationships on your project, whichever of those broader services you are also using.

How pricing works

Vendor coordination is scope-based, priced against how many trades and suppliers need coordinating on your project and how long it runs:

  • Coordination fee. Typically scaled to the number of vendors and suppliers involved and the duration of your project. Starting at $299..
  • Trade and material costs. Priced separately per vendor and phase, whether performed directly by Transit & Flow or by a vetted third-party vendor for specialty work outside our core trades.
  • What changes the price: number of distinct vendors and suppliers, how tightly their deliveries and site visits need to align, and project duration.
  • How this differs from the Property Solutions vendor coordination page. That service is a recurring, ongoing arrangement across a property or portfolio. This page is scoped to your one project, with a defined start and end.

As general market context, not a Transit & Flow quote, Angi’s 2026 cost data notes that general contractors and multi-trade coordinators commonly add roughly 10% to 20% on top of subcontracted trade work for scheduling and vendor coordination, a useful reference for what this kind of management typically costs in the market. Enter your project details and photos in the Estimate Builder for a preliminary online estimate. Final scope and price subject to verification once our team reviews your project.

What’s included

  • A single point of contact coordinating every trade and supplier touching your project
  • Alignment of supplier deliveries with the trade schedule that needs the materials
  • Centralized tracking of open items across every vendor, so you get one status update instead of several
  • Documentation and photos for completed work from each vendor involved
  • Escalation handling when a vendor misses a scheduled visit or a delivery runs late

What’s not included

  • Ongoing, recurring coordination across a property or portfolio, which is our Property Solutions division’s separate Property Vendor Coordination service
  • Full budget management and trade hiring for your entire project, covered under project-management
  • Representing you against an outside architect, designer, or general contractor, covered under owner’s-representation
  • The trade work itself, which is priced and scoped per job; coordination is the scheduling layer, not a bundled labor rate

Coordinating vendors on Central Ohio projects

A single remodel or build in Central Ohio often touches more vendors than homeowners expect: framers, electricians, plumbers, HVAC, cabinet and countertop suppliers, and finish trades, each with their own calendar. Freeze-thaw winters compress the window for exterior deliveries and work, which makes aligning a supplier’s delivery date with the trade installing that material more important than it sounds, a missed alignment can idle a crew for a week. Older homes in neighborhoods like Clintonville, German Village, and Bexley sometimes need custom or specialty materials sourced for repairs that don’t match standard stock, adding another vendor relationship to track. In newer construction areas like New Albany, Dublin, and Lewis Center, supplier lead times can run longer during peak building season, and coordinating that lead time against your trade schedule is exactly the kind of tracking this service is built to handle.

Our process

  1. Share your project. Tell us your trades and suppliers, current pain points, and project timeline through the Estimate Builder or a call.
  2. Vendor mapping. We map every trade and supplier your project needs and note where deliveries and site visits must align.
  3. Coordination setup. We establish a single scheduling and communication point for your project.
  4. Day-to-day coordination. As work proceeds, we schedule vendors, track deliveries, and adjust when something slips.
  5. Documentation and reporting. You receive consolidated status updates and photos instead of chasing each vendor separately.

Services completed by appropriately qualified professionals where required.
